Participants Requirements

Following contact from the musician, schedule the visit or video session.
Provide accommodations for visit or video session.
Provide contact information to the musician for prerecorded video messages (if applicable).
Once the event is completed, enter the date along with the type of event (visit, video session, or prerecorded video message) at musicisdope.com.
Note: Events should not be advertised in advance or outside of the recovery facility so that the privacy of the musicians is protected.

Participants Requirements

Prefer established touring musicians that are in recovery but all musicians are welcome to participate
Requested to participate in at least two activities per year (personal visit, video session or prerecorded video message)
Contact a recovery facility to schedule a visit or video session; refer to musicisdope.com for locations
Contact the recovery facility to confirm contact information before sending a prerecorded video message
Note: Recovery Facilities may only have space to accommodate one or two musicians. Please work directly with the recovery facility on space requirements if you are interested in bringing more than two musicians or a band. One or two musicians may be the best arrangement for the majority of locations.
Note: Visits or video sessions can range from 30 minutes to an hour. Allow time to either perform only or to perform and share your story if you have a recovery story to share.
